ABSOLUTE is used with CALL and it transfers control to a machine language procedure.


Syntax: CALL ABSOLUTE([argumentlist,]integervariable)


  • argumentlist, if used, contains the names of values in the current data segment.
  • integervariable contains the offset from the current code segment, set by DEF SEG, to the starting location of the called procedure.
